Deaths and injuries from electric scooters on the rise

With electric scooters becoming ubiquitous in many cities, it’s no surprise injuries and even deaths on these scooters are on the rise.

There have been at least 11 electric scooter related deaths in the U.S. since 2018.

Trips to the ER and injuries have also risen.

If you recall, 24-year-old Jacoby Stoneking was killed in an electric scooter accident in Dallas in 2018.
