DALLAS --  The scenes of chaos in downtown Dallas are playing out around the country.

Wall-to-wall coverage continued into the early hours of the morning. Newspapers from Paris to Puerto Rico, all with headlines of death and despair in bold black letters.

The tragedy was all over social media as well with the horrific videos spreading like a wildfire.

What happened in Dallas was front-and-center.

Especially in cities that know firsthand about mass shootings.  Like Orlando, where 49 were killed in a dance club and Paris where 129 died at a concert.

As more details come out about this deadly ambush, the world is watching Dallas and hoping they won't be next.
