SEATTLE, WA — A picture paints a thousand words, takes you down memory lane and lets you relive a moment in time.
A team photo gives you back the glory days.
But when it comes to North Texas’ own Trevone Boykin’s Seattle Seahawks roster photo on Google, it brings back the not-so-glory days.
When you search for the Seahawks roster, you find uniformed pictures of Russell Wilson, Michael Bennett, and Richard Sherman, but Boykin’s doesn’t exactly go by the playbook, it’s a mugshot!
We know he had some trouble in the past, but that’s no reason to full on blitz the guy’s photo!
Another guy whose mugshot is front and center is Texas Rangers relief pitcher, Jeremy Jeffress.
In the early hours of Friday morning, the pitcher struck out and landed in the Dallas County Jail for an alleged DWI.
“He’s been placed on the restricted list it will likely be one day because the restricted list is not a drug suspension,” said Jon Daniels, President of Baseball Operations and General Manager of the Texas Rangers. “What the restriction list is related to is, because of what happened last night into the morning and the length of it, he’s not able to report and be fit to play today.”
This isn’t the first time Jeffress has made headlines. In 2007 he was suspended for 50 games after testing positive for using a drug banned by the MLB. In 2009, the same thing went down and he was suspended for 100 games.
Looks like he needs to get back on base or else he’ll be out if the picture!
