ARGYLE, TX - "I just saw one of the workers rolled over by, for lack of better words, an 18 wheeler truck."
"Hurry, ma'am. A guy's been ran over!"
Those were the 911 calls that came in around 10:30 Tuesday morning after construction crews were cleaning up last week's collapsed building at Argyle High School.
The medical examiner says 22-year-old Daniel Moran is now dead after helping to guide an excavator driven by his father.
Investigators are calling this yet another tragic accident to grip Argyle ISD in less than a week.
Emotions ran high at the scene of the accident at the high school's incomplete practice facility. Last Thursday, the metal framework collapsed, killing Julio Ledesma and injuring three others.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is looking into the death of Moran.
On Tuesday, the School Board held an emergency meeting and decided to hire a safety consultant to advise on contract with Northstar Builders.
Soon after, Northstar agreed to suspend all pending projects.
Two tragedies in one week. It's a lot to take for this small town.
