NEW YORK — One person was killed and two others hurt when a crane collapsed and fell onto cars in New York Friday morning.
According to the NYC Fire Wire, the person who died at the scene was inside their vehicle at 40 Worth Street when the crane collapsed.
The Office of Emergency Management tweeted to expect traffic due to a “construction accident.”
Worth Street is closed between Church Street and West Broadway.
