LANCASTER -- It’s no secret, Cowboys Nation is populated with some of the craziest, die-hard, bleed blue and silver fans in the league.

Tamra Burns in no exception. She knows the only thing sweeter than watching the Cowboys play is doing it with some Cowboys chocolate-covered strawberries and candy apples that she makes herself.

Burns' great idea came to her during the worst of circumstances, “I actually got laid off. You don't know what to do or where to go.”

She decided to decorate some strawberries for Valentine’s day, to see if anyone would buy them.

“It was a great reaction. Everyone one said I should start doing this on the side," Burns explained.

But her strawberries really caught fire when she decorated them in Cowboys colors and posted them on a foodie Facebook group.

“It went to like 21,000 likes,” she said. “I didn't think it was going go that big.”

Don’t doubt the passion or the appetite of Cowboys fans. Now the requests are flooding in from all over, even one signed with an Aloha for a fan in Hawaii.

Now that’s what we call a sweet success.

“I was born a Cowboys fan, my mom and dad were die-hard Cowboys fans,” said Burns. “I remember when I was younger they had a banner in the den that said, 'How Bout Them Cowboys!’”
