DENTON -- What do you do when you have a brunch obsession, but you can’t get it whenever you want? You create The Waffle Wagon in Denton.

This food truck, or should we call it -- "heaven on wheels" -- is a dream-turned-reality for owner Rachel Black. And it literally happened overnight.

"I woke up one day, and I was like 'I'm gonna get a food truck and I’m gonna call it the Waffle Wagon',” Black said. “And about two days later, I had an empty truck getting built out."

So two years ago, she quit her job.

"I was in the military initially, and then I continued on as a government contractor,” Black said.

And now she's whippin' up waffles, and we ain't talking Eggos. The Waffle Wagon has some pretty crafty creations, from the classic chicken and waffle with buttermilk fried chicken to the S’mores.

"This one specifically we suggest that everyone smashes it together like a S’more so that they get all the flavors in one bite."

They even have a Monte Cristo.

Chew on This, Waffle Wagon's specialty is the brunch burger. That's a full waffle as the bun topped with a juicy beef patty, bacon, and a fried egg. Yeah, this baby is enough to coin the term "Waffle Crush Wednesday."

Now, if you're looking to catch up with this sweet ride, the Waffle Wagon often hitches up at the Austin Street truck stop and other spots in Denton, so follow them on Facebook and Twitter to find out where they are.

Hey, whether you're traveling near or far – you're guaranteed to get brunch in every bite.
