SAULT STE. MARIE, MI- Although we're already a couple of days into the New Year, there might be a few things you forgot to leave in 2015.

Lake Superior State University in Michigan officially released it's 41st Annual List of Words and Phrases that should be banished from the English language. In other words, it's probably time to say goodbye, ciao, and adios to these so called outdated terms.

"Break the internet" tops the list. Unless you're computer caught a virus technically you have not broken the internet. Yeah, it's time to find a new mission statement for that 'on-fleek' selfie.

"Giving me life" is apparently dead. Whether it's a new dress or your favorite song  that's got you pumped up or excited the university believes the phrase is officially played out.

"Vape" has also gone up in smoke. The oh-so-cool term started after the whole E-cig trend took off but according to this list it's time to blow off the word.

The catch-phrase "manspreading" has apparently gone too far. The list pretty much sums it up as "men don't need another disgusting -sounding word" that describes them taking up space on a train. Period.

Other words making the list: "presser" , "physicality", and "problematic" and starting a sentence with "so" is apparently SO 2015!
Well, cheers to the new year and here's to saying "Bye, Felicia" to these words.
