Garlic and toasted breadcrumbs give this simple side-dish a little crunch and extra flair. It’s a tasty way to dress up your broccoli!
- 1 medium broccoli crown (1 lb. broccoli)
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- ½ cup Panko
Break the broccoli into small florets. Steam the florets (and any desirable parts of the stem) for 8-10 minutes.
In the meantime, combine the garlic, oil, salt and pepper in a small pot over low heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes. Stir in the Panko and cook for 3 minutes more. Toss the Panko mixture with the broccoli.
