BLOOMINGTON, IL – Ever leave the gym and go straight to the bar, un-doing the workout you just did? Come on, we're all guilty.

Well fear no more, there's an alcoholic beverage in the works that is custom-made to quench your post-workout thirst. Yep, it's protein beer! The concept comes from the Supplemental Brewing brand, founded by a guy named Blake Konrardy. He came up with the products' tagline: "Where your workout meets your weekend"

Supplemental Brewing will be pumping out two types of beer: Brewtein, packed with 7 grams of protein, 178 calories, and 5% alcohol. And Nutribeer, the lighter brew, with only 4 grams of protein. It's also got less calories and less alcohol.

Now hold on to your jock straps, these babies aren't on the market yet. The brand is on Kickstarter looking to raise some dough. $40,000 to be exact.

Get this, they're even giving out these ‘Beerbells’ (dumbbell koozies) to folks who donate 50 bucks or more.

Now, while protein beer probably won't help you reach your goal weight, it's safe to say this is the only drink that could help you complete your burpees.
