DALLAS -- Ahh, smells like Black Friday. Or… uhh... Black Tuesday? Stores like Walmart already have the ball rolling with pre-Black Friday prices.
Market Manager of Walmart Stores, Inc. Mike Hart showed off some of the hot ticket items at a Walmart location Tuesday.
The big-time retailer is pushing bargains from Brown Thursday to Cyber Monday.
“6:00 p.m. on Thursday evening is going to be the first event sale for us,” Hart said. “It’s going to be a five-day event.”
Looks like a little less chaos! That’s got some folks out to do their shoppin’ wobble before the gobble.

Brian Huard and Kari James are on the hunt for TV deals.
“I personally don’t do Black Friday because of the crowds, though I like the pre-Black Friday sales,” Huard said. “For us today, we’re buying stuff for a company event. It helps out.”
Some folks aren’t digging the Black Friday frenzy and avoid it altogether.
“I’ve never done Black Friday shopping,” shopper Allyson Wermelskirchen said. “It’s just not… it’s too crazy. Too much going on. I can wait.”
“I’m not coming out Friday,” shopper Betty Scallon added. “In fact, I did all my Christmas shopping in one day. I’m proud of myself.”
But you’ve got to wonder -- what about all the folks working on Turkey Day at Walmart?
“We couldn’t do it without our associates,” Hart explained. “So we’ll be doing things to honor them during that time frame as well, such as hot meals, extra pay for that holiday..For about 25 years we've actually been open, since 1988 [on Thanksgiving.]”
So where are you going to be this Black Friday? In line or online??
