SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Usually when we think of pigs bringing us comfort it’s in the form of food like bacon but one pig is proving they don’t have to be served on a plate to put a smile on people’s faces.
Meet LiLou, she’s the first known airport therapy pig in the U.S.

Animal Assisted Therapy programs are usually designated for dogs, but LiLou is showing it’s time to make room for swine. LiLou has been a hit with passengers at San Francisco International Airport, showing off not only her charm, but very entertaining outfits.
While LiLou is making holiday travel less stressful, it appears we`ll have to wait until she and other pigs can fly to say the same for luggage fees.
United Airlines has announced a new tier of ticket called basic economy which only allows passengers to bring one personal item on board. While United has stated that it’s merely an option, customers have responded negatively assuming this means they won`t be able to use the overhead bin space.
Although only one carry-on item is allowed, there is no restriction on placing the item in the overhead.
So passengers can relax, if you need help just think of LiLou!
