This Black History Month — you can rock a shirt with the word “Slave” on it.
Yeah, sounds ridiculous, doesn’t it? Well, ASOS clearly didn’t see it that way. Â The popular British online fashion site was actually selling a “Slave” shirt… and even had a black modeling rocking it.

What the hell were they thinking?!
Well, clearly — they WEREN’T, so social media had to do the thinking for them.

A "slave" Tshirt on a black guy. I see y'all are tired of making profit. "@LowkeyMo_: This ain't right @ASOS pic.twitter.com/tufdEweZY9"

Not sure what I'm more shocked by, ASOS promoting a clothing line called 'Slave' or the black male that was happy to model it..?!

After major backlash, ASOS pulled the shirt. We sure the heck bet they did! Smh… both ASOS and the company that created the tee, Wasted Heroes, have since issued apologies.
Why was this shirt even an option in the first place🤔 people love to apologize after the fact https://t.co/7IYGtdoigf
