ARGYLE, TX - It was the collapse that set off a domino effect of tragic events in the small town of Argyle. But now, the Argyle School Board has given the nod to resume construction on an activity center.

Earlier this month, steel framework for the building fell and crushed a man to death. In the same week, another tragedy. A worker was run over and killed while trying to guide a large truck.

But the show must go on. This time, with things under a very close watch. Argyle ISD has hired a safety consultant with Archer Western after their original contractors Northstar Builders, voluntarily suspended work following the two incidents.

In a press release, the school board president says, "Work will move forward on a limited basis, based on a review and recommendation from Argyle ISD’s safety consultant."

Here's hoping the rest of the building process will go a lot smoother.
