DALLAS — A few dozen American Airlines flights were affected by an iPad software glitch earlier this week. Pilots for the Dallas-based company rely on tablets for flight plans and navigation. It’s not clear whether the malfunction was American or Apple’s fault.
In related news, there are reports that people with wrist tattoos are having trouble with the Apple Watch.
Apparently the ink can mess with the watch’s heart rate monitor, and switching out settings knocks out other apps.
Apple says the issue has to do with tats blocking the watch’s infrared lights.
