AZLE, TX -- In the North Texas town of Azle, the Honky Tonk Woman Saloon has a new celebrity bartender. One that might surprise you.

It was TMZ that first broke the story that "affluenza" mom Tonya Couch was working behind the bar at the biker stop. She's legally allowed to work, but reportedly still has to wear a GPS ankle monitor, can only work certain hours, and, can't drink. Her lawyer says she's "grateful" to have lawful employment.

So how does someone go from being so rich that her kid doesn't know right from wrong to mixing drinks at a small town saloon? Let's take a look back, shall we?

Her son, Ethan, made the family famous back in 2013, when - at just 16 years old - he was convicted of killing four people while driving drunk.

His lawyer argued that he didn't know any better because of his wealthy upbringing, coining the term "affluenza." A judge gave him ten years' probation instead of jail time.

But just before Ethan's 18th birthday last year, a video surfaced that appeared to show him violating that probation, playing beer pong at a party.

That's when Tonya and Ethan fled the country and hung out in Mexico until an order to Dominos Pizza got them caught and shipped back north of the border.

Now, Ethan's serving a two-year sentence in jail, and Mama Couch is awaiting trial for hindering the apprehension of a felon. But at least she has a job now!

Hey, everyone deserves a second chance, right?

Plus, we gotta think she'll be sure to check ID's - if anyone knows the dangers of underage drinking, it's Tonya Couch.
