DALLAS -- Who didn't love looking at the Christmas catalog as a kid, right? And with only 77 shopping days to go, Neiman Marcus rolled out its 88th edition Christmas book.

This isn't your average layaway catalog.

“The least expensive being $15 and the most --  $475,000,” Neiman Marcus President and Chief Merchandising Officer Jim Gold said.

Wow! The luxury retailer showed off some of their fantasy gifts in high style.

“[I’m] hoping one day I could get my favorite track in my house,” attendee Josh Robertson said of the slot mods USA Ultimate Slot Car Raceway.   “I’ve got the Porsche down, trigger finger steady, taking the turns, it’s a lot of fun.”

The Tanqueray No. Ten Imperial Shaker by Jason Crawley was also up for grabs.

“This is six-feet tall, it has four cocktail shaking tins. You can do 30 cocktails at a time,” said Keith Scott, Senior Brand Manager at Tanqueray.  “Whoever buys this for 35,000 out of the fantasy gift catalog…they’ll receive a year supply of Tanqueray No. Ten gin, and a cocktail party up to twenty folks.”

Santa was even in attendance. Maybe he will get an invite to that cocktail party!  And for just 425 thou, you can get a Vanity Fair Academy Awards Experience!

And why don’t ya swing by in your brand new Limited Edition Maserati Ghibli?

“There’s only 100 of them being built. As soon as you start that vehicle, you hear that Maserati engine go, and it just makes your heart flutter,” Peter Grady, President and CEO of Maserati North America, said.

A curtain dropped, showing the big his and hers gift for this year.  “Happy Holidays from Neiman Marcus,” Gold said, showing 2 Vilebrequin Quadskis for $50,000 each.  They look like ATV’s that turn into jet skis almost immediately.

Neiman Marcus will give part of that money from these fantasy gifts to the Heart of Neiman Marcus Foundation.

Sounds like a good deal!
