November 23rd stands out on its own as an important day in history. Why you ask? Here are some of the things that make this day pretty historic:

In 1890, Princess Wilhelmina became Queen of the Netherlands at the young age of 10 when her father William III died.

In 1889, the first jukebox made it’s debut in San Francisco at the Palais Royale Saloon.

Life magazine published its first issue in 1936.

Then in 1963, the long-running British sci-fi series “Doctor Who" made its debut.

The musical “Pippin,” in 1972, opened at the Imperial Theater on Broadway.

In 1991 at the age of 45, Queen front man Freddie Mercury confirmed he had AIDS. He died the next day.

Wayne Gretzky, in 1988, scored his 600th National Hockey League goal.

Reality star Snooki turns 28 today.

The host of The Talking Dead, Chris Hardwick, turns 44.

Miley Cyrus turns 23.
