14-year-old with physics degree is TCU’s youngest graduate ever

FORT WORTH – Finals are over at Texas Christian University and one student wrapped up his senior year by being the only one wearing a cap and gown who was born in this century. At 14-years-old, Carson Huey-You is TCU’s youngest graduate ever.

Carson graduated high school at just 10-years-old, then enrolled at TCU to pursue his interest in physics and math.

Carson graduated Saturday bachelor’s degree in physics and double minor in math and Chinese! He has plans to begin graduate school at TCU this fall.

Carson isn’t the only smart one in the family! His younger brother, 11-year-old Cannan, just graduated high school and plans to study physics and astronomy at TCU this fall.
