Texas has started to receive doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine that was recently approved for emergency use by the FDA. However, larger cities will likely not receive the Moderna vaccine at first.
Due to the way it’s shipped and stored, which is less cumbersome than the Pfizer-developed vaccine, smaller and more rural cities, and clinics will be the first to receive it.
