If the U.S. followed the lead of other countries, would it have saved lives and businesses?

Hindsight is 20/20, but if the U.S. adopted masks requirement sooner would it have mitigated the spread of coronavirus and lessened the damage to the economy?

When compared to countries in Asia with much larger population densities that adopted masks sooner than the U.S., the cases being reported are significantly less than what we’re currently seeing in the U.S.
