Austin v. Tulsa: Tesla looking for location for billion-dollar Cybertruck plant

AUSTIN, Texas (KDAF) — The battle to land the Tesla Cybertruck truck is heating up. Yesterday, Travis County Commissioners approved a $14 million dollar tax incentive package in hopes of luring Tesla to the Lone Star State.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk is reportedly also eyeing Tulsa, Oklahoma for the plant.

The plant will cost approximately $1 billion to build and employ 20,000 people.
