    Billy Chemirmir is now charged with killing 11 elderly women in Collin and Dallas counties. Chemirmir as arrested in 2018 for the murderof 81-year-old Lu Thi Harris. Police say he robbed his victims and smothered them with a pillow.

  • Man uses his own hair to make his girlfriend an engagement ring 😐

    A woman’s post about her engagement ring turned into a hairy situation (See what we did there?). The woman said her boyfriend proposed to her using a ring made out of his own hair. Romantic gesture or most horrifying piece of jewelry ever? Don’t worry, the ring is just a place holder, she said, for the real ring that’s more “intricately woven”.

    Schools in under served areas across Texas, including Dallas and Duncanville, are bringing Yoga into their schools and after school programs.   • Ohio school eliminates valedictorian, salutatorian to reduce ‘competitive culture’

    Mason High School in Ohio will no longer have valedictorian and salutatorian beginning with the class of 2020. The school allegedly made the decision after a yearlong study involving a focus group of students, family and staff. Mason’s principal made the announcement Thursday, saying it was part of an effort to improve student’s mental wellness.   • Hundreds march in Fort Worth to call for legalization of marijuana

    Hundreds of people marched to the Tarrant County Courthouse on Saturday as part of a call to legalize marijuana in Texas. The event was the annual DFW Marijuana March, organized by The Dallas/Fort Worth chapter of NORML — the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws. Speakers addressed a crowd of around roughly 500 people about decriminalization, using marijuana responsibly, and the medical benefits of CBD oil and cannabis.  

  • School bus driver allegedly dragged bi-racial 14-year-old because of ‘racial animus’

    A mother in Utah is suing a former school bus driver who she claims dragged her son 150 feet because of his mixed race. Brenda Mayes says the driver, 78-year-old John Naisbitt, closed the doors on her son’s backpack and then drove up to 175 feet before letting him go. Naisbitt, when interviewed by KTSU, said he was “not at all racist”. “Look at my dog” he said, “He’s as black as could be.”

  • Maleah Davis’ stepfather charged in 4-year-old’s disappearance

    Maleah Davis’ stepfather, 26-year-old Derion Vence, is being charged with tampering with evidence, namely a human corpse. His bond is set at $1 million. He is expected to appear in court Monday morning. Police say trained dogs detected the scent of human decomposition in Vence’s vehicle. Maleah has not yet been found.

  • Veda’s Hot Mess: Bachelorette contestant fathered 114 children

    25-year-old Matteo Valles from the upcoming season of the Bachelorette was revealed to have fathered 114 children. ABC released a bio saying Matteo is ‘a sperm donor who has helped create 114 children for all types of families.’ Definitely different than the usual “I’m a Scorpio who likes walks on the beach.”
