Stephanie Mendez is one of CW33’s multimedia journalists who is eager to highlight all things fun in the DFW area!
Stephanie is a proud Mexican American, born and raised in El Paso, Texas, where she found her love of lifestyle and entertainment journalism. She recently graduated from New Mexico State University with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Media Studies and minors in Marketing, Advertising and Social Media Management.
During her time at New Mexico State, she was involved in the production of the student-run newscast “News 22” that aired live Monday through Thursday.
Stephanie joins us from KFOX14 in El Paso, Texas. Here, she was a Lifestyle Correspondent representing her city by showcasing local businesses and producing content for Texas markets.
While the “Borderland” will always be home for Stephanie, she is excited to explore and indulge in everything the DFW area has to offer from the food, museums, nature, people and everything in between!
She credits her mother, aunt and grandmother for shaping her into the fearless woman she is today!
On her downtime, you’ll probably find Stephanie doing what she does on-camera, off-camera! That means finding the tastiest restaurants, best hiking spots or spending time with friends and family.
