WEATHERFORD -- It's a case decades in the making but after 29 long years, Weatherford police say they've finally arrested a suspect in the murder of a 19-year-old woman.

Ricky Lee Adams was taken into custody Wednesday morning and charged with capital murder in the death of Wendy Kae Robinson. The teen disappeared in the summer of 1987. Robinson was last seen at The Wall, a popular spot along Lake Weatherford. Her body was found just a few miles away, but her killer was never caught.

Earlier this year, investigators began reviewing the case once again with the help of the Texas Rangers and Secret Service.

It's not clear what evidence led to Adams, but police say there may be other people may be involved.
