WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Here’s reason number 420 on why President Obama supporters wish he could be elected to a third term. Obama says marijuana should be legal everywhere just like cigarettes and alcohol.

In an "exit interview" with Rolling Stone, Obama made it clear that he discourages substance abuse of any kind but believes marijuana should be treated as a public health issue.

Unfortunately, for all you "weed heads," President-Elect Donald Trump appears ready to kill your high. He recently appointed anti-marijuana Senator Jeff Sessions as Attorney General.

In the Rolling Stone interview, Obama also pointed out the current inconsistency of marijuana being perfectly legal in one state while getting someone a 20-year prison sentence in another.

Who knows, maybe Malia played a part in softening her dad's stance on pot?

Wonder if he'll call the sequel to his book The Audacity of Hope, the Audacity of Dope?
