ARLINGTON -- Monday, several kids from Primrose School in Arlington gave a big thanks to Mission Arlington and learned a life lesson in return.

"We're here today donating almost $4,000 worth of groceries to Mission Arlington to help those families who are in need," said Lynne Groff, the owner of Primrose School N.E. Green Oaks.

But it all started a few weeks ago when the students began doing extra chores to earn extra money.

On Friday, they all went on a field trip to Kroger to buy food with that extra money before coming full circle on Monday - when the food was donated - to complete this life lesson about helping those who are less fortunate. And that's exactly what this time of year is all about, isn't it??
