ISHGL, AUSTRIA--You've always heard the rule of fashion: don't wear white after Labor Day.
Okay, the fashion police have eased up a bit on that rule.
But there's a new dress code, at least in Ishgl.
That's a ski resort town in western Austria.
Apparently, the mayor there has banned skiers from walking around in their ski boots after 8 PM--and the resort is on board with it.
They say the boots are somehow risky when you're not on the slopes.
And they're noisy. Some people have complained about the sound of the boots on the street.
They're serious about this. Ski boot wearers could face a fine of $2,100.
Sounds like you'd better save those cool boots for the slopes.
