DALLAS -- We've probably all been there before. Dumped or kicked to the curb, by someone you thought was "bae". Well, actors Bill Bellamy and Shemar Moore might have a cure for the broken-hearted. NewsFix caught up with them at their Dallas screening of The Bounce Back.

The love story follows a relationship guru, played by Shemar, who falls for a beautiful woman.

"We are going to fall in love together, then we're going to realize that we all had hard times," Shemar told NewsFix. "We're going to fall out of love, then we will find the courage and faith to fall back in love."

We've seen these by-the-book type of romantic comedies before. Steve Harvey told the ladies to Think Like A Man. Bill Bellamy even schooled the fellas on How To Be A Player. But, Shemar promises his film will touch everybody going through any tough situation.

"Everybody's had a bounce back in their life whether it's love whether it's getting your heart broken, whether it's losing your job illness or family," Shemar explained. "Everybody's had an up and a down-- this is about finding the courage."

Of course there's some comedic chemistry too! Some of us haven't  seen Bill and Shemar on the silver screen together since The Brothers.

"We got laughter all over the place," Bill added.

Bill describes  his character in the film as a "silly manager and over protective,  because he's my client and I'm the best manager in the world!"

You can catch the film in theaters December 9th.
