Fort Worth Woman Walking Dogs Hit & Killed by TRE Train

FORT WORTH -- A 35-year-old woman was killed Tuesday night after she was hit by the Trinity Railway Express train in Fort Worth.

Fort  Worth police say the woman, identified by  the Tarrant County Medical Examiner as Kristina Letney, was walking her dog while riding her bike at the intersection of Haltom Road and Etsie Street when she fell onto the tracks and was hit by the train.

The TRE train passengers were transferred to a bus.
