Another long week is over and the weekend is finally here!
We know you’re still trying to get over all of the Halloween craziness this week caused, so we have a few fun-filled weekend activities to put on your agenda.
Also, while you’re out having fun, don’t forget to set those clocks back this weekend for Daylight Savings Time.
Friday & Sunday: Moby Dick Opera

It wouldn’t be a proper 60th without the homecoming of Jake Heggie and Gene Scheer’s Moby-Dick. The new opera based on the legendary tale of Captain Ahab and the white whale has been around the U.S. since its premiere in 2010, and we’re lucky to have this incredible story back in Dallas. Steve Smith of the New York Times called its premiere “…an undeniable success. The end of its maiden voyage was greeted with a sustained, rousing ovation, with shredded programs fluttering down from the highest seating level.” Moby-Dick is the most modern work in our 2016-2017 Season, and if its reception so far is any indication, it’s not one to be missed! #opera
