DALLAS -- It's the best of both worlds for DART riders.

DART's board of directors says they'll fund both the Cotton Belt Rail Line and the D-Two Subway in downtown Dallas.

Both are expected to cost more than a billion dollars and should be complete within the next six years. Not everyone is happy with the deal, though.

The Dallas City Council is afraid spending on the Cotton Belt Line will put a federal grant for the D-Two in jeopardy and delay the project.

But DART insists they have the money to do both.
