GOLDEN VALLEY, MN - Once you`ve gone through the last of your Girl Scout Cookies stash it can be a long wait until you`re able to re-up but your days of Girl Scout Cookies fueled depression may be over thanks to the most important meal of the day.

On Monday General Mills announced plans for two limited edition Girl Scout Cookies cereal. The two flavors will be Thin Mints and Caramel Crunch. The latter is a cereal version of Samoas.

The question is will anybody actually buy them? U.S. sales of breakfast cereals are down 17% from 2009. The decline is attributed to consumers choosing healthier options and opting for food that they can carry out the door. The trend is supported by a report that nearly 40% of millennials said that cereal was an inconvenient breakfast choice because they had to clean up dishes after eating it.

If you`re one of the remaining few who don't mind sacrificing a few dishes you`ll be able to pick up a box or few starting in January.
