IRVING- Around 3,000 kids spent the day at DFW’s Aviation expo Friday. Brooke Peterson of American Airlines said, “They have an opportunity to touch and see and feel what it’s like to be on a plane and work in aviation.”

The Aviation day gives a hands-on, touchy-feely experience with the military, too. They even get to try their hands on a grenade launcher.

The expo’s designed to get kids thinking about an aviation job when they grow up.
