OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. -- A Florida Highway Patrol trooper rescued an injured American  Bald Eagle -- and the officer's kindness was all caught on dashcam video.

The eagle had flown into the path of a Jeep on the Florida turnpike; the bird hit windshield and was stunned. Trooper Julio Velez spotted the eagle standing on the side of the road; he picked him up and carefully placed the eagle in his patrol car.

The eagle is now being treated at the Birds of Prey Center in Maitland, Florida.
