Frisco ISD Delays Opening of Four Schools

FRISCO -- The Frisco Independent School District's school board has voted to delay the opening of four schools in the city. All four delays are due to budget cuts.

Memorial High School, Lawler Middle School, named for William Robert Lawler, Talley Elementary named for Kenneth "Tex" Talley, and Liscano Elementary, named for Carlos Liscano, will now open a year later than planned, in 2018.

Frisco ISD may also freeze salaries, but that will be decision will be made at a later date.
