Ken Bone's sudden internet fame brought up some of his old Reddit posts -- and that's probably not a good thing for the undecided voter whose red sweater gained famed during the second presidential debate.
Bone, now the man of a million red sweater memes, invited the world Thursday night to participate in a Reddit AMA -- Ask Me Anything -- using his StanGibson18 handle, but he forgot to clean up his old posts first, allowing the interwebs to see his porn comments, details of how he committed insurance fraud, and -- oh, this one's ear-catching -- how he thought the shooting of Trayvon Martin by George Zimmerman was justified.
"It doesn't have to be a one or the other view from here. From what I read about the case the shooting of Trayvon Martin was justified, but from what I've learned of Zimmerman through statements, interview, and behavior he is a big ole sh*t bird," Bone commented. "Bad guy legally kills kid in self defense. Sucks for everybody, including us due to the media f***ery," he posted in a discussion in a thread about the gun used to kill Travyvon Martin being sold at auction.
The 34-year-old also has old posts discussing a vasectomy, saying, "I had mine 2 years ago. Sexual satisfaction is way up. There's nothing like being able to go bareback with no worries. My wife loves it too. I've noticed no difference in sensation or volume and the procedure was nearly painless. Can't recommend it enough."
And then there's the revelation of Bone's fetish for pregnant women, calling them "beautiful human submarines."
In another old post exercising very poor judgment, Bone talked about how he created documents and committed insurance fraud.
“I forged documents to make it look like I had car insurance so I wouldn’t get fired,” he said. “Can’t say how I did them, I don’t know how long the statute of limitations is on that.”
Bone verified the account as his own when he sent a tweet inviting participants to the AMA.
You had a good run, Ken. It was a week you'll probably never forget.
Bone recently partnered with Uber. Reps for the driver service told The Daily News Bone is receiving service credit for pitching the new 'Uber Select' service over Twitter. (But they're not saying a whole lot right now about this whole Reddit mess.)
