DALLAS -- It's a collaboration you've never seen before, Dallas ISD teamed up with the Nick Cannon Foundation to motivate their students.

"My foundation is about empowerment specifically towards the youth," Cannon told NewsFix. "Ultimately providing opportunities and creating a bridge for the young people."

So, the celebrity guest host introduced kids to the American Teen Mogul Summit. Nick explains it as "a workshop where various weeks he will come to the community, specifically Dallas and empower the young people."

The 32-year-old  chose a few students to skip school and spend the day with him at Chase For Business Conference.

"I get to miss school to hang out with a big star like Nick Cannon and just take it all in," Conrad H.S. student D'Andre Hamilton said.

So, whether it's hosting their own show or taking on the role of CEO, Nick says the power of knowledge doesn't cost a thing.

"Education is key and in Latin it means to fulfill, so whatever we can do to actually fulfill these young minds," Nick added.

But this isn't Nick's only time spent in Dallas. After getting word of the deadly police ambush, he caught the next flight from L.A. to be here for the men and women in blue!

"This city inspires me. When you think about Dallas everything from the JFK Assassination to the recent tragic event, the city has persevered and come together!"

Safe to say, when it comes to spreading positive vibes -- Nick is no underclassman!
