DALLAS -- If you live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Katy Trail is pretty well-known. It’s a public path that extends from SMU all the way to the American Airlines Center.

It's a staple of the city where runners, walkers and cyclists enjoy morning workouts and evening strolls. But lately, the trail has gotten a bad rap for the number of attacks, with several being reported.

One of the most recent attacks has Dallas PDe on the hunt for two men who allegedly attacked a woman on September 16th around 10:30 pm on the trail.

According to the victim, she was leaving a restaurant and walking home when she was attacked, knocked down to the ground and robbed.

Investigators have released images of the suspected offenders using the credit cards within an hour of the attack at a nearby 7-Eleven.

Unfortunately, the Katy Trail is no stranger to being in the headlines for reasons like this, but let’s hope these attacks don't scare others from taking a walk.
