DALLAS -- Bikinis are just coming off the shelves, Halloween costume planning is yet to even start and all of your favorite stores are already decking their halls with Santa, stockings and the infamous Elf on the Shelf.
And although there are complaints, American shoppers seem to be playing right along.
Rolling out holiday decor before the leaves turn colors is surprising to some, but according to CreditCards.com, 34 million people have already started their Christmas shopping and one million claim to have already finished.
Talk about overachievers!
For the rest of us Scrooges, according to the statistics, we won't finish until about Christmas Eve, especially shoppers under 30 because to be honest, for most millennials, it's the thought that counts, right?
