Fort Worth Police Officer Released From Hospital

FORT WORTH -- Fort Worth police officer Xavier Serrano has been released from the hospital. He was shot multiple times during a call September 9.

Serrano's injuries required surgery, but he is expected to make a full recovery.

Police say 55-year-old Martin Fleece shot Serrano and rookie officer Ray Azucena as the officers responded to a suicide call.
