Fashion Designer Marc Jacobs Accused of “Cultural Appropriation”

To some people, dreadlocks are just another "fad," but for others the hairstyle is rooted deeper than that. Marc Jacobs might've learned that the hard way during his final show at New York Fashion Week.

This time, it wasn't his clothes that caught people's eye. It was the faux-locs his white female models rocked. People online are calling it a form of "cultural appropriation."

Mr. Jacobs didn't hesitate to respond to the backlash either.

That response  sparked even more drama and later prompting the designer to apologize for his "lack of sensitivity."
