El Fenix Celebrates 98 Years With 98¢ Enchiladas Downtown Today

DALLAS FORT WORTH — Tex Mex is one of the greatest things to come out of the Lone Star state and today, you can enjoy it for less than a dollar!

El Fenix is celebrating their 98th anniversary with 98¢ enchiladas all day Thursday. The enchilada cheese plate

The catch?

The deal is valid ONLY at El Fenix’s original location at 1601 McKinney in downtown Dallas. It’s dine-in customers only and limit one per guest at the 98¢ price.

But still, 98¢ enchiladas!

Miguel Martinez opened the first El Fenix in Dallas in 1918 — which is where their famous margaritas got their name — and how has 23 restaurants across North Texas.

In addition to the great deal downtown today, the restaurant is holding a giveaway for free El Fenix for a year.
