DALLAS – Donuts or ice cream? Ice cream or donuts? That's a hard one, right? Well, one Dallas spot is looking to eliminate this dessert dilemma with the Milk ‘n Cream bun at Milk & Cream.
"It's a scoop of ice cream that goes on half a donut, and then the topping, and it goes into a machine and it warms the outside of the donut without melting the ice cream,” Owner Man Ho told NewsFix. "It's kinda like a little sensation of hot and cold at the same time."
The milk 'n cream bun is a concept that started in California, but it's quickly becoming a hit in Triple D. And it's not hard to see why. With combos like the cookie monster, with a cookie crisp finish. The sea salt caramel, even matcha and fruity pebbles!
Chew on This: Milk & Cream is now offering glazed donuts for an extra serving of sweet.
"Everybody loves the glaze,” Ho said. “They prefer the glaze over the plain. Some people are afraid that it's too sweet, so what they do is just go with the plain."
Now if you can't handle the two together, Milk & Cream is offering their ice cream on a cone or in a cup, too!
But where's the fun in that?
