OCEAN CITY, MD — The US east coast is bracing for possible severe weather. What’s left of Hurricane Hermine has caused some soggy weather in Maryland and Virginia.
Hermine could also cause some problems for Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts on Labor Day, but is expected to weaken some more.
While swimming has been banned at many beaches because of dangerous surf, many people plan to enjoy the Labor Day holiday at the beach.
Two deaths have been reported from Hermine so far. One man died in Florida when a tree fell on him. Another person died when the tractor trailer they were driving overturned because of high winds in North Carolina.
It’s possible that a new storm in the Caribbean will turn into Ian. Forecasters are keeping their eye
