DALLAS -- The annual Christopher H. Martin Painting Day began in 2001 with renowned Dallas artist Christopher H. Martin.

A group of selected patients at Texas Scottish Rite  Hospital for Children rolled up their sleeves and worked together to create a work of art on a blank canvas. Chris then puts the final touches on  the masterpiece, highlighting their designs and adding definition with his own personal touch.

The finished product is auctioned off each year at Treasure Street, the annual signature event of TSRHC, and is always a favorite item among attendees.

This annual auction item has raised more than $155,000 for the hospital over the years.
