LOS ANGELES -- It was the kind of chaos the TSA couldn't even pre-screen. What sounded like shots fired at LAX Sunday night triggered a panic. That meant everyone pulled out their phone to capture the scene.

"All of a sudden, there was a flood of people saying there was a shooter, " explained one passenger. "I mean everyone was in a huge panic."

So, the airport went on a lock-down while police went on the hunt for a possible suspect. They ended up pointing the fingers at a man dressed as Zorro who was believed to be carrying a sword. Turns out the sword was plastic and he was eventually free to carry on.

"They let me go," he told ABC 7 News. "They didn't arrest me or anything like that. They explained to me crazy stuff happens in the airports."
