NORTH TEXAS-- Hillary Clinton is making history as the First Lady to snag a presidential nomination, writing a new chapter in U.S. history books.
There are already girls out there planning to fill the shoes of powerful women like the FLOTUS and Hillary.
"I think it's amazing that we've come so far really," Marielena Garcia told NewsFix. "I think it's important to have a female leader because men still to this day don't see equality between females and males."
Take it from her sister, Lauren Garcia, who plans to be the next female president or, If Hillary doesn't win, the first.
"I used to be mad because I wanted to be the first president," Garcia explained. "This is going to be the first female president possibly-- I think that's real cool!'
Estrella Mata says it's about time a woman runs the White House.
"It's been a long time we've been waiting for this moment for a female to be a president," Mata added.
No more singing about it, maybe it's time to really be about the change!
