FRISCO, TX -- The Cowboys have made headlines again. This time with a VIP packed, topping-out of an upscale hotel in Frisco.

On Wednesday, Omni hotels and Resorts let the public have a sneak peek at the three hundred rooms, sixteen story and luxury destination, set to open next summer.

Guests will experience top of the line dining, a wine bar, fancy retail and even artwork!

"The way they've designed this hotel is also a destination with the pool that oversees the plaza, the conference spaces that the city participated in, it’s going to be a truly destination hotel,” says Maher Maso, the Mayor of Frisco.

Now, we know the hotel was the shining star of the day but that was overshadowed by some not-so shining questions surrounding several of the players donning the blue star of the Dallas Cowboys.

"With the amount of emphasis and amount of time that we spend with players, it can be frustrating but it’s something that you just don't want to give up on,” says Jerry Jones.

With many of the players in the doghouse these days, it’s kind of hard to tell if Randy Gregory, Rolando McClain and Ezekiel Elliot will become what Jones expected them to be.

But like with the hotel, hopefully his gamble with his team pays off!
