KYOTO, JAPAN - There's no denying that Pokémon Go has been a huge success. Well, except for the company everyone thought was responsible for the game.

Nintendo went through the roof since everyone assumed the company had created the game. But the gaming company recently released a statement letting investors know that it only owns 32 percent of The Pokémon Company. The news caused Nintendo`s shares to nosedive by as much as 17 percent at one point during Monday's trading. That's more than $6 billion in value.

But the games must go on and if they must go on then it might as well be as safe as possible, that`s the idea behind a video that Irving PD released which talks about the potential dangers of playing the game; like playing while driving, playing in traffic or searching for the virtual creatures by yourself.

The video gives other tips as well, all in hopes of getting people to have fun but also be careful in the process.

Happy, safe hunting out there!
